Dave and I were talking the other day and some of the guys we had to hunt against are in prison now and they ain't gonna get out for a long time. I don't know if you called them pro's or not tho.

No competition is ever completely equal, there are so many variables to contend wth. At best, all one can do is the best they can and hope they win. In coons hunting competitions, it often comes down to the luck of the draw. Everyone does not hunt the same ground, some places are better than others. Some handlers are more skilled than others, some dogs are better than others, etc., get the picture? All in All, it's just a hunt, sometimes the best dog wins and sometimes they don't. Uncertainty is what gives everyone a chance to win, and that's all you paid for, a chance! Dave

He made it to the Final Four. Boone had a coon by himself but then got out of hearing in the late round. My Pro Handler was a real trooper and walked his legs off to win $100.

Oh my goodness, what have y'all got to say now? Where are all of the "all you have to do is offer more money and the entries will pour in" guys now. Where are all of the guys that think "money" is the answer to declining numbers?
