It is the NCAA's fault that Alabama lost.

What did the NFL do after deflategate? Did Brady bend the rules or break the rules.

Was it the NFL's fault that the Patriots bent/broke the rules? Was it Brady's fault that his handler/equipment manager deflated the ball? How long did it take the NFL to suspend Brady? Lots of similarities between different competitive sports. Y'all should hear some of the things that go on in competitive horse showing or thoroughbred racing. At one horse show world championship, they use 5 judge's and they have to take a lie detector test at the end. Coonhunting scandals are actually pretty tame compared to some other sports. Just look at what happens in NASCAR races. Is it NASCAR's fault when a car fails to pass inspection after a race? Those crew chiefs all try to "bend" the rules just as far as they can without breaking them. But sometimes they go too far and break one.

$kc's pale in comparision to the $'s involved in the bigger horse shows, the judging has got to be above board. Horses are valued in high 6 and 7 figures, stud fees and yearling prices are at a premium from champion horses. It cost a small fortune to show horses, but we love the shows. Dave

It isn't just the judgeing. I am sure that nobody tries to bend the rules to get through inspection at a big walking horse show. And none of the big trainers hire an assistant to lead a horse through because they are on suspension.
And I know how much money is involved. My brother and nephew were walking horse trainers and my Uncle Joe Mack was on the Celebration Board for many years. My niece is still involved. So I have seen what goes on behind the scenes. And it pales in comparison to coonhunting.

Never was interested in padded horses ( walking horses ) Watch an American Saddlebred five gaited horse in the show ring , they are a thing of beauty! Dave
