I have never read anything saying you can't. As long as you have the non resident license i wouldnt know why you couldnt.

No,,you have to wait till your state law comes in,,,which is nov. 9th at midnight,I know cause I'm waiting too,,I've been hunting both states for years I used to hunt on the 8th untill I found out you couldnt,,the hard way

I don't see how u can not hunt in Indiana under our coon season I mean asking as you have a license that would be like saying you can't turkey hunt in Kentucky before Indiana comes in or trap in Illinois for otter when we don't have a otter season you can do all this and u can go to Kentucky and coon hunt and squirrel hunt with there license as long as you have the state license and u are fully leagal you can do it I think u should call ur local dnr because just read Indian laws don't say you can't

Not till our season comes in!both states have to be in season,you just can't hunt in Indiana untill your state is in season,I have no idea how other states work,,,I just know what the Indiana DNR told me.

I believe the reason it was changed is our season comes in Oct.1 so lots of outta staters came up and butchered our coon then headed home for their openers. Of course that was in the fur hay day in the eighties but I believe that was the reason anyway.

it depends when your state lets non. res. hunt, a person from IND. can not hunt coon in Mich. and keep hides untill Nov.15th 45 days after the Mich. season opend so a Mich. resd. can not come to Ind untill 45 days after our season opens , if your state does not let non res. hunt then Mich will not let you hunt, i do not know about Ind. i do not hunt there, but i do know that Mich. will not let some out of staters hunt

Its still crazy... If someone buys a license to hunt and season is in then they should be able to hunt IF they have the places to hunt.

with the new license structure some of those non resident dates and fees have changed if i read it correctly. I don't know if the non res nov 15 is still in effect.

read your by law book it is confusing, it states one thing about non res. hunting certain things then it states coon in another spot .

Indiana law states that non residents may hunt raccoon ONLY when non residents from your home state can hunt coon.
According to the graph on page 48 of the Michigan hunting regulations, a non-resident can hunt possum on October 1 with a dog, but must wait until November 15 to hunt raccoon.....

Okay sorry guys and gals I looked into it u all are right can't hunt until ur state season is in my bad that was just always what I thought since u can turkey hunt and deer hunt in other states and season not in it was the same for everything my bad this all is kinda a crock of crap
