Big Red is 3 years old and has achieved many accomplishments in a short time. Red treed his first turnt out coon at 4 months old. Treed his first wild solo coon at 7 months old. He made Ntch at 14 months old with three 1st place wins and won his first NTCH hunt at 14 months old at the Louisiana UKC state hunt and qualifying for the Purina Nationals. He made GRNTCH at 22 months old due to my work schedule. Red is a dark red color with plenty of brains! He is a no reverse kind of dog. He can tree a coon right in front of you or go as far as he needs to go to get under one. He hunts with his nose down a few yards and throws his head up a few yards. He loves to wind a coon when there aren't any tracks down. He will strike on track, but mostly he just drifts giving a few barks until he throws a long bawl locate which rolls over into a chop. He is a very accurate hounds that's 85% of the time treed by himself. Not ill at all.
