Fiddle is long gone , she was a real nice dog for me. She was a super fast strike dog, she ran a track wide open and was truly a track dog. She treed and would stay until you got to her. She had a coon almost every time. Her sire NiteCh Red Sage was one of the best coondogs I have ever hunted with. I wish she was still young and alive to put in the hunts, whenever I paid her entry fee I always figured she could win.
Fiddle is found in many pedigrees today and that is something I feel real good about, I hope somewhere there is one like her I know there are many that have some of her best qualities.
She once slipped her collar while she was on the leash just to charge out into a field and kill a skunk. Fiddle got that trait from Sage and has passed it on to many others. Not her best DNA exchange.

so far so good

still a lot of pup in Peddle but she ha been doing real good for us so far. Might have a close cousin of hers to get some starting time real soon . I'll let you know when I see the light come on.

What happened

I guess if I'm going to call this place a Kennel I should advertise.
I will be picking up a nice little female pup next week that my bear hunting buddy Dean Daugherty has been keeping for me. She is a Boone / Fixin pup and I can't wait to finally get her.

Our kill season is open and the dogs are getting to do what they love best. We will be hunting the following dogs this fall.

Sawblade Mac Pedal...1st kill season
NiteCh Sawblade Timberline Rusty
Sawblade Lester Flatt....1st kill season
Rusty and Truck are full brothers and Ribbon is a complete coon hunting machine. We have some good dogs to run the two pups with so they should have a chance to see what they can do. Good luck to all this year and safe hunting.
