Swim Pond set-ups

Hey guys - Our club is looking to upgrade from manually cranking the coon across to an electric motor for water races. Wondering if anyone could give me ideas and pics of motor setups on their pulleys to get the coon across. The pond is about 230' long and we use about 540' steel cable so motor size is a big question. Also speed control. Any input is appreciated. Thanks,
Mike
