In you guys opinion, is there room in the market for another dog box manufacturer? Custom, by order, plus run of the mill boxes.... any input is greatly appreciated.

I was figuring aluminum diamond plate and some good ole 6061 t6 smooth boxes from time to time.

If you could make a reasonable priced Retriever dog box , like Deer Skin or Mountain Top Customs I think you would do well.
