Our plan is to get wizard collected and offer him at limited stud due to his age. We would also like to get him in a few shows to try and make him a dual champion. With a pedigree that includes his sire as the historical #5 reproducing male and his dam as the current #1 and historical #1 reproducing female and his grand dam as a past overall purina points champion and the historical #2 reproducing female we believe he still has something to offer and worth collecting for future use.

Had two out of him , one I really liked. Unfortunately I lost him at a fairly young age just as he was coming on strong. Never will forget him , couple of my buddies used to tell me they'd never seen a red dog that would go ! We showed them one !

You can contact Chad Cartwright on here he is super nice guy he owned wizard before. And Doug Moore owned him when he won national redbone days. I'm sure either of these gentlemen can answer any of your questions.

I plan on trying to make him a show or grand show champion. I am going to have him collected and find out his count if it is good I plan on signing him up for performance sire in UKC for one year & offering at stud for a year. I believe he has a lot to offer the breed and has a pedigree that reproduces.

Oz was one of the nicest hounds I've owned. Probably a second strike dog. Opened here & there on track with a nice tenor bawl. Good nose & could work a bad track. Dying bawl locate & hard solid tree dog. Pretty accurate & independent enough. When I was pleasure hunting with friends & we weren't treeing coon. We went & got oz. he rarely let us down. Oz got ate up in the box at a young age & never operated right in a cast of dominant male dogs. He isnt mean & was never in a fight but he just wouldn't operate right. That's why I never finished him. He was a pleasure to own the 5 years I had him & it was tough to see him go. He was just sitting in the pen. Hopefully Nathan can enjoy him like I did. I just got papers back on wizard and noticed he has 41 pups and of that 41 he already has 2 nite champions. Now percentage wise that puts him at 5% which would place him in the top 10 current reproducers if he had the 100 pups! If he had the 100 i believe he would have more than 2! He could be one of the top historical if given the chance. His mother & father are in the top reproducers and wizard carries that same trait. If anyone I'd interested pm me it truly is a team effort! Thanks!
