Roger, i used to own the Jesse dog. I have since sold her back to Steve. Larry, the Brookshier dogs can flat out run a cold track (don't want to offend anyone). They are cold cold nose dogs, they are fast to strike, run to catch the coon and they are fast. The worse the weather, deeper the snow, and colder the night. The better they get. The only fault they have is: they love to track more than tree. But, once they flip the switch. They will not dissappoint. My Babe female is just like that (what i said about Jesse) . Babe's sire was a cold nosed dog as well. We made the Billy (clover) x Jesse (brookshier) cross. Trying to put some tree back into the brookshier dogs. Plus, cross a cold nose dog to a cold nose dog. That is why i am going to breed Babe to Ox. Babe and Ox get better as the weather gets worse. The weather is cold and nasty in Minn. right now and Ox is treeing the heck out of coon. Should be some cold nosed pups. I hope i have answered your question's?
