garmin 220

i got a 220 that ive had for several years , it still does good . In the last few months ive noticed it will power off without me doing anything, it will always power up again and does good.
i know its got some age on it , but anyone ever have this problem?

Couple things to check. The batteries connections in the battery box need to be checked for any corrosion. Top side have been know to corrode up. I would also go through your track log and get rid of any old tracks you have. Both dog and handheld tracks. Sorry I can't be more help but if I think of anything else. I will share it.
