I'm an idiot. Have the World Hunt close to me and was all excited to go and check it out and meet up with some of the guys I've been talking to and giving me some tips on working my pup. Drove up about 45 minutes away last Friday and pull into the fair grounds. Get out and walk around. There was four or five vendors there and maybe 50 people or so moving about. Seen maybe five dogs. Get on the phone and call Chey to see if he was up there. Jen answers the phone and says he is down cutting grass. Now I am all confused and try and tell Jen that the hunt is tonight. She corrects me and tells me that the youth hunt was that weekend and the World is this week. Now Im really scratching my head. Don't know how it happened but my days were all mixed up. I remember saying to myself when I pulled in and didn't see many people or dogs, "If this is the world hunt, this ain't chit!!" Lol

LOL Brother it happens to the best of us. On another note treed 1 more after I talked to you after cold trailing about a mile. Then against my better judgement made that infamous last turn out on the way back to the house. The dogs struck a red hot one about and ran him about 3/8 of a mile and caught him on the ground in a old cattle guard. Last turn outs like that are few and far between. S/FI!

A buddy of mine went to the World Hunt in Salem, Indiana once. When he got there and no one was around, he made a few phone calls and found out that he was in the wrong state.

Sorry we missed you a few years to early lol. Our 6 year old grandson is still in training right now.
Lane didn't have any luck with Shack this week he treed coons just not enough or at the right times lol. Lane said he could not catch a break anywhere at this hunt like most the big ones you've got to have a lucky break somewhere.
If we don't see you before he will be going for $kc Nationals in April.
