We will be offering Rex up for public stud in 2021. Rex was bred, raised, trained and titled by Justin Auspurger in the great state of Iowa. Justin has allowed us to partner with him on Rex in hopes of getting some nice pups on the ground out of him. Rex is 9 years old but if you come and hunt with him I think you would agree that he doesn't act, look or sound his age. Rex goes hunting on a dead run and is all business about finding Mr. Ringtail. He is bawl on track and is an up on the woods steady chop mouth tree dog. We have several linebred females lined up to breed to him this next year but would love to see others make crosses on him also. We think he should cross well on most lines. Rex is UKC and PKC registered and we will be putting him in the Performance program for next year. Rex is in Northern IL for your inspection.
Stud fee is $200 or possibly a pup deal.

We bred Ch Bear Claw Thunder In the Rain to Rex this week. Rainy has a big bawl mouth on track and a bawl that rolls into a chop on tree. She is line bred on the Northern blood and is a daughter of our Iron Will Nitech we had a few years ago.

Rainy's pups are due March 24. Although the pups will be in Idaho I will be traveling out to get my pup and can help bring pups back towards Illinois and would be glad to hp get some back east. Rainy's pups are 3 weeks old now and growing well. Rex and Rainy have 9 healthy pups. We are keeping a female off of this cross form ourselves. Greg has a waiting list on the pups but a few may be available. Rex has had few females come in and get bred to him. Mike Walked has a daughter of Roughton's Splitter that should be due in a couple weeks. Beth Doberstrein owns a double Kansas Hayes female bred to Rex and is due in about a month and a half. Greg Cover recently purchased Sage, the mother to Grnitech Shakespeare, and he bred her to Rex on this past Saturday. Should be some really nice pups on the way. I have plenty of videos and pics of Rex on the tree with the meat. Send me a message if interested in any information on him.

Rex had a great weekend at Black and Tan Days in Peru Indiana. On Thursday he got beat in the RQE hunt but only lost in a tiebreaker. On Friday he won his cast and got 5th place Nitechs and on Saturday he again won his cast and got 8th place Nitechs. On Thursday Pat Hohl spectated the cast and was impressed with Rex. He said that anyone could call him and he would share what he saw the old dog do in his cast. Give Pat a call. +1 586-663-2842

Raven Creek 3X Rex and Dunn River Splitter's Dark Star will be having pups any day now. Star is a direct daughter off of Splitter. She is one win away from being a Grand on the bench and will be finished. She has a beautiful bawl mouth on track and nice chop on tree. Mike Walker purchased her from us and has had fun hunting her. Excited to announce the most recent litter to hit the ground out of Rex. (6/19/21) We love these line bred crosses. Sage is a proven reproducer as she is the mother to Shakespeare. We want to thank Greg Cover for choosing Rex as the sire to her litter. We are keeping a male but I believe Greg will have few available.

Pups are being spoken for quickly. A male and a female are available off of the Joy cross. Possibly one female available off of Star's litter.
