Well Hobo we made it home about 1:30 yesterday evening.

The pictures you had on your thread does no justice to how beautiful the pups really are.

Hope mike will be happy with the black head pup.

I just could not pass up that red head pup once i saw it in 20 seconds i had my mind made up.

It was nice meeting you and your father and when Mike Blackburn drove up too that made the day forAneisa and i.

Aneisa really liked your dad and those chickens that layed Blue and Green eggs.
Wish we had been able to talk more maybe in the future we will meet again and have more time to swap stories and push those Boone dogs to their limit.
Thanks for the opportunity you gave me to own a Boone bred dog again.
Thanks for the hospitality and kindness you and mike showed to Aneisa and I.

We got to find a cord that goes from the camera to the computer then Witch will be on that Swamp Music thread quite often i hope may even do a progress report like John Wick use to do starting at about 4 months old.

No barking quite in kennel already.

I knew you were leaning towards the other pup by looking at the pictures, but I kinda thought once you saw them you would like the other one more...

Dennis i hunted Clover dogs there for a while and i do like a black headed walker but seems like it would not be Boone blood with out a Red head.lol

Yes i was leaning towards the black headed pup and ever one i showed the pictures to said the same thing but once i saw them i knew immedately which one i wanted.

LOL You also were trying to sell me on the black headed pup.lol.

The black headed pup was the best acting one of the litter, she was the first to do several things.

Not knowing her like I did, I more than likely would have gone with the one you did. I really do like them both.

Well I am simply ecstatic with the pup that we selected. She seems to be perfect. I'm sure Mike will be just as pleased with the one that he got. Witch is already right at home. She is so calm and happy. I thought that it might take her a little while to get used to being separated from her litter mates and other dogs she was around, be she has taken right to her new home and has made friends with Sam already. I put a collar and leash on her today and she was leading with no problem. I think she will be so easy to train and super smart. So Happy ))

Glad she's settled in so well. The HoneyBee pup I raised last year took to leading like a pro with very little work.

I think most people don't really understand just how smart these pups really are.

Breeze was the same way when we got her home,she settled right in and was no problem at all,in no time Maddie had her leading and obeying commands, don't need a leash on her at all now.

These boone bred pups have the looks,the drive ,and the brains to make good ones..

Randall can't wait to go hunting with Breeze one night once our job is over in a couple weeks or so be early retirement for me after 24 years of service in corrections and 24 years on construction and strip mines so i guess it is about time 48 years seems to be long enough to pay taxes.lol. and if my health holds up plan on getting in the woods a little while just about every night.

I sure am glad we got the Boone blood back into our area of Kentucky.

Put swampmusics hoss and swampmusics black ice in the woods tonight, they struck a old running track worked across a large creek 20 ft wide and about 5 to 7 ft deep and trees old mister ringtail in the middle of a large swamp! Boots filled with water soaked to my thighs and grinning the whole time. That swampmusics blood is something you boys should look into. Thanks Dennis and a big thank you to mike and tommy Blackburn for putting the finishing touches on ice she is very nice.

Jerry Debolt hunted HoneyBee and Hoss last night, both are off of the first Pride/Mary cross here is what Jerry had to say about his hunt..

"This was a fun hunt fellas, against everything I was ever told,myself and Eric turned two 12 month old swampmusic pups loose without shock collars on them and let the good times roll. And these two pups did not disappoint! They split treed from each other ran their own tracks and did their own thing. Not to a point of being dead loaners but doing their own thing! These swampmusic hounds are nice acting hounds. And if you truly want to better your breed and chances of treeing and seeing coon you might,just want to try some of this blood! I have a female here at my house that can't be bought or "horse traded"for and another female being tuned up by a couple of buddies, and she can't be bought either. Pups will be coming soon on both so you boys better be ready! Thanks Dennis,Mike and Tommy as well as my good blue dog buddy Damon for the help and the hunting I am having a blast and to my friend Eric C. Well will keep them in the woods until you are ready! Thanks to all"

Diesel is getting better and better every time i cut him off the chain. He's been a natural from day 1 since i've owned him. He's smart and picks up on things quick. These swampmusic dogs can make you look like a good trainer, all they need is a ride to the woods. i highly recommend trying one!
