It means the dog has at least 3 generations of registered dogs behind it on its pedigree.

I believe I had a pr dog years back with a non pr dog in his 3rd generation but could be mistaking

yeah you're right droopy , it was right in the first reply . it's 3 gen's of ukc reg dogs . my leopard hound is not a pr dog but with the right stud her pups will be .
