Drum is in Manchester ky fellows at Alvin hollen's. Drum has produced some really nice dogs over the years and is still throwing some nice ones. If you check your Coonhound Bloodlines you will see Drum's mother Brown's Haley has a daughter listed in the current producing females list, a son listed in the current top producing sires list, and the she is also in the top five females for walker pups performance points earned on the year. Not saying that to brag, just point out that Drum is from a very good reproducing female as recorded by independent facts and numbers not just hype and opinion. Of course no one has to wonder if his sire Rat was a reproducer.

Havnt been on here in a bit guys. Just kinda helped Alvin start this page to let people know where drum is.

Carl: we bred izzy to drum back in early summer but she didn't take. I planned on trying it again but she disappeared off the chain at my mothers house Labor Day weekend and havnt seen or heard from her since.

Travis I'm not sure what is gonna happen in 2015 with drum, maybe paid up and thinking on having him sold. Not 100% sure yet. I also really like what u have accomplished Travis with your breeding program. So many titled females generation after generation continuing to reproduce. To be honest I have always thought your females where the strong point in several stud dogs pedigree.

As soon as they get everything figured out on the plan for drum I will post it on here.

Alvin called me right then and ask me to post that all the fees were sent in on drum Friday for all three registrys pup programs. So when u breed to drum not only will your pups be performance and super stake eligible, but also eligible for chkc super pup program. This is a fast growing kennel club and lots of comp hunters out there are wanting these super stud sired pups. So contact Alvin if u want to get your female bred to an all grand rat stud with a powerful bottom side pedigree to go with it.

Boys don't pass him up. Drum has shown to be a reproducer with limited pups on the ground. Where u gonna bred to an all grand stud dog with pups Beeing eligable for all 3 pup programs for 300. Drum is easy to get to fellows as well. Get off of I-75 and take Hal Rodgers parkway to within a couple miles of his location. Also there's semen stored at wabash and in Oklahoma. Gonna try to have some in Knoxville by spring.

Alvin also wanted to post that he will work out a deal with someone out there if they have an all grand grnt female to bred to drum. At the end of the day it's about getting pups on the ground off of him to give him a proper chance to show what he can throw. So if u got thAt extra nice female that will produce pups to appeal to comp hunters contact Alvin at 606 594 2870. Alvin is a good guy who will go out of his way to accommodate you if he can.

Was out on a ridge last winter in the Shawnee National Forest listening for my hounds when I heard someone else's dog come treed a long ways off. Me and Rustin were impressed with the hounds mouth and how nice he sounded. Later that night I met those hunters on the road as we were leaving. It was a Drum pup. Not many sound as good as he did.
