1 is equivalent to a thief and 1 earns the things they recieve.

1 is a liar and a crook the other has honesty and integrity.

A cheater expects something for nothing and should be removed from the gene pool before those traits can be passed on.

Just my opinion though

Differences

If you don't know the difference between the 2, you most likely were cheating. Dave

So was Sambos handler cheating or trying to win?

Was the guy at the winter classic cheating or trying to win?

If you strike your dog on its first bark even tho your not sure what its running are you cheating or trying to win?

If you tree your dog quick before your 100% sure it will stay are you cheating or just trying to win ?

Sambo's handler cheated, he broke the rules. But Sambo didn't cheat.

News to me about the winter classic deal.

Striking your dog on its first bark isn't cheating. The rule says "on or before it's 3rd bark".

Treeing your dog before its treed is pitching, and I think it's a gray area. Reason being if it leaves then you take minus, if it stays then it could get plus points but a gamble doing this. Its partly cheating but not really, unless your dog is still very much running and you tried to pitch your dog onto a tree before it was even close.

If you’ve ever been “cheated” it’s your own fault for not knowing the rules, or not standing up for yourself.

Nope, just ask around. It's never their fault on any of it. And they won't admit they're leading a sorry dog either.

Cheating hall of famers

It’s an easy fix !! Run a fancy add in the book expressing your heartfelt apology and one on here. Pay a fine. And poof everything is ok and you are forgiven and can then again spend thousands on on hunts again.

Cheating

Anyone who has to cheat to win any hunt is messed up in more ways than one. What satisfaction can anyone get winning anything by cheating? It's just a hunt win lose or draw and go to the next one, but do it honestly. Dave

.

You can fall into this pit if you're trying to win with a dog trying to loose.

Most people are not cheated till they they tell their friends how the cast went and they are asked so many questions they get confused. Which is easy because they didn't know the rules to begin with. Put on your big boy pants. Nobody said it was going to be easy.

Everybody is a potential cast winner till the dogs are unsnapped. Each coon treed means someones dream is slipping away. There is no waking up from this bad dream. So excuses on why you are being cheated start to come into focus. You should be examining the excuses you had last week for not hunting and training your dog and reading the rules. But wait, it's too late to win this week. But that don't matter. I got cheated. YOU DID. You cheated yourself out of winning a coonhunt and you cheated the rest of the cast our of having a good time. Because of your complaining.

.

I have actually done that. The entering of the hunt had no intention or thought of winning. It was to fill the hint and have two three dog cast. At the end of the hunt me and another dog was tied. Both had zero. I won the coin toss. I was donating my money to help out a club. Sure didnt feel like cheating to me.
You have amused me with a couple of your questions. But if your serious and believe what you worte. I suggest you attend more hunts. If you have attended a lot of them. Then I sugesst you attend some in a different area.

IMO what's worse than drawing 3 cheaters is one who thinks they're being cheated. Also all this doom and gloom, I'm sry if some of y'all deal with that but I got to I'd say I go to more hunts than the average hunter, I participate in different registries and I just don't see all this bad, out for blood, win at all cost outlaws every one on here sees. It's talked about so much that now most just have their cheating story ready after every cast, because most think that's the only d@mn way you can loose!!!! Just remember, every 4 dog cast is gona have at least 3 losers, every time.
