Just been reading Bruce's post and everyone's opinion on why it's so hard to find a accurate hound. This stud is a prime example. I read several post how the $$$ hunts have ruined our hounds. What hound EVER reproduced as many big hunt winners as he did? The hound that won the fall senior ss and another one off him made the final cast were off him. He's produced several ss winners and 4 world champions truck hunt winners list goes on and on. He produced dogs that had coons when they treed; at least most I hunted with did. However most his pups were born running dogs that would tree. Meaning they preferred to run instead of tree but would tree. This was a trait his dad produced in his hounds. In my opinion if you guys want more accurate hounds your going to have to get more patient and not expect tree dogs at six months old. When it comes to having an elite competition dog they must be accurate.

But I would like to know if there has ever been a hound produce as many major hunt winners as he did?

I have learned one thing the hard way over the years, I always wanted a super hard, loud tree dog with all the chrome. But nothing and I mean nothing will win as much as a dog that has coons when it parks. They gotta have coons no matter how classy or lack of class they have. Big, beautiful and loud mean nothing UNLESS they have them critters when they stop. I promise if you follow one of the elite winners night in and night out you will say “ that sucker has coons when he/she trees” .

I like my Zeb 3 dog, sometimes it seems like she has a little too much track dog in her but she normally has a coon when she stops so I can't complain too much.

There is semen off zeb 3 I have started 2 off 3 and liked everything about them but there mouths but have a butch now that's throws her mouth on her pups . Might be a cross in future I have a little rof her and wipeout willie that are 11 months old and super nice
