“Bon “ Fire

Wondering if any one had to overcome a dog stop treeing once you get close to the tree. I have one just started getting quite when I get about 50 yards from the tree. She will keep treeing good if it’s another dog on the tree with her. I have kill a lot of coons on her in the last two months. Any suggestions?

FIRE

Quit Killing Coons. She waiting for the Shot. Go with another dog and hook her back a few times and not let her touch it then cut her by herself same night. When she trees I bet she keeps treeing.

Lol.

I don’t have anything around me that I would hunt her with other than Ann , and I like to take her and Anna or hunt her with something that will keep her under pressure. The weather won’t allow me to come your way before it get to hot. So I’m trying to stay close and hunt.

Anna turning it up

I took my Anna pup off Ann for a round last night. She struck first and the track didn’t go far before Fire treed. Walk in Anna was trailing around the tree she didn’t tree on it much but stayed right around it and found the Coon quick. I sent them on and they both open up at 700 yards and work awhile before Fire treed. Just as I got into the tree Anna came meet me and fire got off one tree and got right back on a tree that was close to the tree she was on. I hook both of them and back up hit the squaler and the coon jump out the first tree Fire was on. I cut them lose and they ran out of their screeming Anna was really enjoying this track. They took it 800 yards and start coming right back in and it started breaking down and Fire treed and Anna made a few tree barks I made my way into the tree and found a big den tree so I hook them up and headed out. I got back to the truck and decided to cut one more time and they hit a hot track and screem on it for 600 yards and treed Anna treed a lil bit better on each tree so this tree I put the Coon down for Anna and keep Fire back. Then call it a night.

Pups

I had Ann breed to boseph but unfortunately she lost all her pups. Due to milk fever. So I’ve been searching high and low for something super stakes and performance to push. Anyone has something give me a call or text at 225-678-1247 Thanks.

Man I'm sorry to hear that Sleepy. I picked up the phone Friday night to see if you still had any that wasn't spoken for, but decided I didn't need another puppy.

Bad breaks.

Did everything I could to save them. But I had to go to work. And it’s hard to bottle feed when u on the road all day. But we might try again. I came close to calling chase to get one off case/ Jin but Johnny call me with something a Lil bit older and I took off to Bama yesterday morning and stop at Tobby house on the way home and he had the best tasting crawfish I ate this year. I believe we ate one sack together and he drop another one in the pot but my wife call before they was finished, so I had to get home. I left out at 6:00 am to go get a male pup. Just my size. Don’t no what I’m going to call him yet but was thinking about calling him big city slick😁

Fly

Finally I’m back doing what I love most about summer nights hunting or tranning. I’m back to hunting redstick fly and she haven’t been hunted since late February to early March. Cut Fly loose first and she took a few minutes to go but after a Lil bit of leash talking she move on out and then I cut Ann out and they ended up together for about 300 yards and then they split up and Fly got treed about 550 yards while Ann was getting deep with her track. I put the clock on Fly and took my time and got my bike off the trailer and decided to take my 22. With me just Incase. She stayed treed and I road my bike right up to the tree and it took a few min. But found that Coon and I decided not to put it down since I wanted to teach her to go from the tree put it’s going to take a few more hunts before she get it. I got back on my bike made my way into Ann and found her Coon quick and since I had my lil male pup I put it out so he could have a lil taste. Made my way back to the truck and now I’m ready to go back out tomorrow. Thanks for reading. Stay tuned in on Fly she is off Tangi River Dandy/ Smokey river Thorn. Both of these dogs are Grand and winners from small to large hunts.

BO X ANN PUPS

Elmo, my pup Rose is Running and Treeing, by Herself or with her Daddy, Bo. Struck off the back of the 4-Wheeler the other night in the Swamp so I cut her. She fell treed a 100 feet behind me with the Coon. Winding the whole time, not up on the tree. Coon was laid up, hadn't been down yet. Bo is good at doing that and I believe Rose will be too. Seems to have a better nose than Bo, just has to get the woods time to learn how to use it. She goes every step with Bo , but I been hunting her some by herself. Not her fault I was having Surgery when she hit the right age to be started and then I started her in the Spring only to stop hunting because of feeling bad and hot weather. She's going to hunt Plenty Hard by herself in time. Just getting it all figured out right now. Glad to here all the others are doing well.

“Bon Fire “

After 5 months of regret I revived my Fire female back. She has not been hunted much at all in the last 5 months she is not a finished dog bye far and probably won’t ever please a lot of Coonhunters her style of hunting is much different from dogs that I hunt but I feel that in time she will be a flat out Coon treeer. I hunted her last night and I can tell that she is happy to be back home I could call her and she will be at my feet. I had her ready to be hunted anywhere. She has a first place win at this year RQE Hunt but I didn’t no I would get her back but when I found out she was coming home I was trying to get her money sent in but not enough time. So I’m going to whip her back in hunting shape and try and make the Fallround up. This lil girl will make a statement 🔥🔥🔥 I’m on a mission!!!
