Potentially screwed

I recently bred my american bully to a Dax grandson american bully. About 5 weeks later the stud owner and I were going transfer his studs ABPT papers over to american bullies (which clearly he is an american bully, NOT, ABPT.) Now he is not wanting to transfer the papers. He claiming that it will mess up his ancestry in his pedigree. I did the research before hand and reassured him that it wouldn’t change his ancestry. It would take away the PR on the papers but nothing else would change. Well he still doesn’t want to change it now. I was going to keep one puppy but sell the others. So would my only option for this litter be to register them after they are 6 months through single registry?
If there is please let me know.
Thank you.

Correct. Single registering them is your only option if the owner of the other dog does not want to switch the breed.
