That's a good question Richard........I wonder how folks could get the idea that someone has quit hunting when they still sit in the truck cause they forgot their light.......beats me. Plus, the day he quits......so will I.

Haze and Winner - not for sale

I believe I'll hang on to them Richard.........Winner is going to be headed north soon......so I'll be giving you a call. Winner is going solo in some thick coon and will learn the ropes all by himself until this fall. He will be a coon treeing machine when it's all said and done and I would imagine he'll have plenty of "go" too.

Lucky - Haze X April

Mike we had a great training session this afternoon and finished it off with a good quick hunt tonight. Here are a few pictures of Lucky. I think she is going to be the real deal, time will tell.

She looks great Noah. She sure is a dark little gal. Keep me posted. Just in case anyone asks.....the little white dog isn't out of Haze....

REDEMPTION: What a nice word, isn't it. Ole buck has found redemption tonight........we made a drop and Haze and Hurnie went deep, but straight over the hill to the river. Treed at 582 yards straight down....if you go down....thou shalt come back up too....... Buck went the whole way and all the way back. I was proud of my buddy, then he and I went and got pizza and some hot wings......

So, for any nay sayers out there......ole buck ain't quittin'.....he's just gettin' warmed up.....

Come on Mike...that little white dog is the next best thing to the redbone world. I am thinkin about single registering him...it appears to be the cool thing to do these days. I think he has some redbone in him somewhere (haha)

Haze just bred a wide, deep hunting, hard going, independent accurate Grand Nite Champion female out of Rusty Red. She was also opposite sex champion at southern redbone days a few years back. Should be a great cross.

I think he has 31 pups on the ground right now. All but a few are under 18 months old.

That 100 pups seems like a long way off I bet. Once his pups start hitting the comp hunts. That should change that pretty quick.

Yea.....it's tough to get 100 pups. Especially with a young dog. He should get there eventually. Hopefully he will have several nite champions before he gets to that point.

I took a 5 month old Haze pup along with me last night to see what he would do. He left out with the old dogs. When I got to the tree which was 900 yds from where I cut them loose, there he was.
