Hey Lavell, glad you like him, He should make some dandy pups. His mom and dad were good enough for anyone to follow, Jeff

Re: Re: House Blood

House's Hardwood George, Jeff he's what dad needed for sure, its funny how old Hunter keeps producing them whether coon dogs or big game dogs. Thanks for the chance at him,the smile on a 66 year old mans face was all worth it.

I traveled to Johnson City, Tenn to get these little darlings. Twelve hour drive. Not planning on doing that again for awhile! Ran into one of the worst ice/snow storms I've ever seen on the way home. They are 9 wks old now. Showing unbelieveable traits at this age. Noses on the ground an tails in the air everyday at play time! Roger thanks again for all your hospitality. Tell your wife thank you for me as well.

There not puppies anymore! This video took place 5 days after 6 month b-day. Bell has pink collar, Ruger has red collar, an Thumper has blue collar. This coon had duped us the 3 previous nights. So we took different approach, get there at daylight. When we approached feeder coon was still on the ground. Ruger took the lead. First tree he tried to take Ruger pulled him off of it, fight was on. Coon broke loose, went bout 50 ft, Thumper hit him in dead run. I couldnt see crap for all the dust. Coon broke loose again, went bout 100 yrds from first tree, made it to brush top. Thats when Bell thought it was her turn. She belled off in, the ****est racket you ever heard took place. I ran around the fallen tree looking for a way in, sounded like she needed some help. On way around seen coon running down fallen tree, when into snag still standing. That sets up video.

Snag was pretty rotten at bottom. Left them treed an headed for tire tool outta truck. When I got back to snag, Ruger was spread eagle on top of snag looking at coon. Started digging at rotten wood. When I got to where I could get at coon, Ruger fell in. I grabed Ruger by back feet an pulled him out with coon in tow, to were Bell an Thumper were waiting.
Needless to say, we had little party when we got back to truck. These pups have not been messed with on drags, scents, or caged coons. I let them run loose as long as I am at home. We do everthing together, from mowing the yard to the garden work. Thanks again Roger for breeding Babe to Hunter. Im going to start another post soon so everbody can watch their progress.

gotta brag on my little bit of house blood kinda bragging anyway?!?!

my old deanwood drifter grandson dog; nt.ch. bandit bustin storm drifter got his 3rd first place last nite to earn his nt.ch. degree, he is 9 1/2 but didnt get to very many hunts.. now we finally got him ' ta town' .! currently he is leading the wisconsin red/white./blue hunts. his first 3 years he was a house dog, then a coyote dog. them he told me he wanted to be a coondog. then when he became one of those he had an accident which took him out of that game for awhile . give him to some guys when he started to recover and they put him through coon chewin rehab program... last spring i took him to a wisc. governors cup qualifier , won 1st place there. then this spring we won the red hunt overall, and now a good friend took him to heartland club, wisconsin and got first again.. all 3 nights were kind of rough hunts as far as scores go, the first 2 he came in with good numbers and last night just enough to win, circled on 2 wompin big trees. did what a coonhound is suppose to... HE IS A HOUSEBRED DOG!!!!!!! AS I SAID STARTED HIS LIFE AS A ""housedog"" and will DEFINITELY FINISH IT AS " HOUSE "BRED DOG!!!!!! HAVE A GOOD SUMMER EVERYONE AND KEEPS THIS THREAD ROLLIN!! THANKS!!!

Here's my luck! I wanted one out of Sacket. I had done had a good one rememberable one out of Old hickory Nut Harry. Not the Stylish one but the original. He was a good one I enjoyed. Then I got one supposed to be off Shults stylish Coma but PKC and DNA said his daddy ain't yo daddy so you can marry anybody you want to. Then come to find out he was Really off Sacket JR and I gagged and puked . I liked Sacket but I had wasted ten years on JR's bottom side. The Crow was my dog's daddy if that bring back Memries. Never the less, I had him going good by 11 months old and I liked him ad he liked me so I stuck with him for 12 more years till he died in the woods the nights of the Grand American 2010. He would come back. He hardly ever needed to come back but the place I hunted burned off every spring for quail and I turned him into some woods not yet burnt and he was gone for 30 minutes and came back .Come to find out in a few minuites I had turnt him into One acre that wasn't ashes and 5,000 acres that was so he came back. I appreciate that in a dog. I bred him several times but he threw go yander idiots you had to hunt with trackers and give them 4 mininutes and they might get out of range . So I Quit with walkers and got Leopards and bred him to a leopard . Pups trained easy enough but not enough comeback yet so I sold a few otherwise $5,000 to $10,000 dogs for a $1,000 because they were half breeds and mesed with nickel and dime folks at the time. Then I went to straight leopards.

To make along story shorter, I still have a two year old male 3/4 leopard 1/4 walker that goes back to Jr. that I like. I like Mr. Clean but I as soon take a female out of Hunter that does not have Jr 's bottom side in it. Maybe a HunterX Nite Heat or Lone Pine female pup to put back on my crossbreed male LOL Any body got one??? If not I'll stick with pure leopards.
