Chasing vehicles?

I have a four month old walker that shows no fear of vehicles to the point of running up to them when pulling in the drive also i just seen her start to chase a truck and cattle trailer down gravel road what is your all's opinion on the best way to put a stop to it now

Thanks for any help

I am not much of an advocate of shocking young pups but in this case her life is dependent on it. Set her up with someone driving who is watching and won't hit her and you controlling the hand held. Hopefully a low setting works if not turn it up. It may take multiple times. Keep her penned up when you aren't there until you know she is broke from it. Let her out with the collar on when you are outside and hit the button the moment you see her go toward a vehicle.

I had an uncle once told me his technique. He gets a stranger to the dog to stop in the driveway. Position the dog to barely run over the dog's tail. Then honk the horn, hollar and lots of motor noise. I never tried it, but He said they never run cars again.

I read on a famous coonhunters article that he ties the dog up close to road and when a vehicle comes by he shocks them just enough to get their attention so they learn to stay away from vehicle coming down the road !

Drive by in a strange vehicle it'll chase and hit it with can of pepper spray.... it works! Done a couple yard dogs on way to the woods that always chased vehicles and it stopped it after 1 time

I teach mine at about 6-7 weeks old not to be around anything with wheels and a motor!! Usually they will follow me to the truck when I’m loading dogs and I’ll have a handful of pea gravel. When the truck fires up I let em get they hide eat up with pea gravel. Luckily I hunt a stock of dogs that don’t like getting in trouble and they learn real quick when the truck fires up....RUN!!!
