Garmin or dogtra pathfinder

Not starting a fight by no means or at least not trying to. But I am looking to upgrade from what I have already (Astro 220). Looking for recommendations between the two. I’m used to garmin but don’t want to be bias. Is one better than the other or are they about the same? Thank you in advance

Both work well and each has its advantages. Mostly depends on your personal preference. A lot of guys I hunt with or around have Garmin and it makes it nice to be able to barrow/loan a collar or add each other’s dogs. With that said, we have a dogtra also and it’s works well and has awesome maps . Reading those links will give you more input and help u decide.

Mine came down to price and simplicity. Dogtra was cheaper, works just as good. Garmin has alot of features i never use, dogtra was easier for me to navigate.

Trackers

I have both....a Garmin 320 & a Pathfinder. I tend to like the Pathfinder a bit more over the Garmin. Pathfinder doesnt have all the Garbage on it that Garmin has and it blows Garmin away with the Maps. Range is about identical and No problems with Battery life.
