Lyme's Vaccination for Puppies

I was just wanting to gain some insight and hear others experiences on the thought of vaccinating puppies for Lyme's disease. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

There is quite a bit of info to read on line about the vac. It seems to have more risks than the disease. I prefer to just treat mine with monthly preventatives.

Alot of vets don't recommend the Lyme's vaccine.
We don't give them to ours. Your best bet is good prevention. Keeping your dog on a monthly flea and tick chew and tick removal.
A huge portion of all dogs will test positive for varying tick diseases this doesn't mean they need treatment! Active symptomatic cases need treatment.

Thank you guys for the information. It is greatly appreciated. One more thought as well. Do any of you guys have any recommendations as to which vaccine brand or type would be the best? Solojec or Spectra or Duravet and would you recommend a 5, 7, or 9 way.. I just want to try to make the best decision I can in choosing vaccinations for the puppies.
