Ranger is out of one of the last litters Mr. Ed Mead had. I've raised him from a pup for competition hunting. He's the best dog I've ever owned but I can't hunt him like he deserves because of bad knees . He's a great hound ready for the big stage. By himself he hunts close. With other dogs he goes as hard as any, but usually spits off and goes on his own. In the pack he opens enough to strike him but as he works the track he get tight mouthed then locates. Tree him because he's a stay put tree dog. He's tone trained, lead trained, and will heel out of the woods. He's only been in one hunt at 12 moths old because my female was in heat. He did great with strange dogs and won the show. Oh yea, he'll make a great show dog with very little work. WOW! after writing this I really don't want to sell him, but I need too. $5,000.00 I will show him in the woods. Bring yours and see how he stacks up or hunt him solo what ever you prefer. Can also do a video hunt.
