Autumn Oaks

Sorry never been to this one. Does your dog have to be a cast winner and in the top 16 or 20 to receive the high scoring redbone from the association? I can’t find it anywhere so I had to ask a stupid question on here!

NO

You have to only win your cast with a good + point total & be a member of desired breed assoc. BEFORE you go to the woods. If your score holds up against other member scores, you can win high male/female awards.

Have seen it happen before, person goes hunting & scores 1000+ tonight, then tries to sign up with desired breed assoc. in the morning after the CW & expect to win. It won't work & hardware would need to be returned. Good luck. AO is just like comparing a county fair (local hunt) to the state fair (AO). You won't see as many people & dogs in your life as there will be there, plus great food & venders. Take care, Ron.
