I have had the pleasure of hunting with this young female a couple times now. She is a very nice young hound with a lot of potential. She can definitely tree a coon alone and needs no help in any way. She hunts out good, opens good on track and stays treed once treed. She has a very nice mouth that sounds more like a big male barking. I'd say she will finish into a very nice hound. Good luck with her Mike.

Thanks Mike for posting this pic. I can't get into my Photo bucket account for some reason. Me and Tim are going to have some fun with these two come this fall. Fly is out of Leon's Darkside and Mercury (Merc) is out of ole Ace and Renae Ehlenbagh's Hurricane Hanna previously owned by Jeff Stull of Pennsylvania. I was looking at Merc's pedigree again and came to realize that it is packed clean full of top reproducing hounds. Hounds like Hindmans Broad Ax Blue Max, Double springs Bodacious, White River Salin' Sadie, Hammer XIII not to mention my Mountain State hounds and Renae's hounds Slug and Kelly and Casey, dogs that go on back to Morris' Blue River hounds. Also Hannah goes back to Jeff Stull's great hounds and Spreng's hounds which trace back to Spreng's Blue Lady, (litter mate to Morris' Blue River Boomer) and also Johnny Olingers Little Timber Mike. And on the other side Hannah goes back again to Renae's hounds and on back to Morris' Blue River Boomer and too many other great hounds to mention. I know Boomer has been gone for many years but this style of hound has been kept current through selective breeding by many. Thanks to Mike for keeping up what I had a small part in along with thanks to Renae for her end as well. These hounds are no accident and keep reviving my interest in this bloodline. I can't leave out Mikes fine Duel Gr. Ace and Ace's daddy Ringo who was a flat out coon gettin' machine. So let's just hope that we have something that will continue to please us and many others who will have these dogs for years to come.
