UKC Zones

Oh my goodness, the reservations are all in now. The Zones start next Friday. Where is the list of dogs entered and which Zone they are going to?

Zone clubs have received a non finalized list could be a straggler in the mail that got postmarked last weekend. I imagine the first of the week they will have them up.

When it was announced that World would pay $50,000. it was heralded as the "cure" for dropping hunt numbers. I thought that we would see a record number of entries at RQE's and Zones. Is that going to be true? In my area we didn't see a big increase in RQE entries. I wonder if that is true nationwide? If there isn't a major increase in entries will UKC reevaluate and drop the $50,000 prize money?

Where did UKC say 50k to the winner? 10k yes, 50k is for tournament of champions.

Mr. Lambert

We are in iowa and hut several of the local clubs in southern IA. I went to 3 rqe's and a slam qualifier. None of the 4 hunts seen record numbers. They actually were hardly above average. And some of the guys I know that got qualified were just after the cast wins and never intended on going to world.

Oh my goodness, it is 10 am. Where is the list? Is all of the new rule controversy going to overshadow the World Championship this year?

World Hunt ONLY pays $25,000, plus other prizes. What a bummer, only $25,000 extra this year!!

1st $10,000 2nd $3500 3rd $2500 4th $2000 5th $1500
6th $1500 7th thru 10th $1000.

I'd be happy with 10th!! Only short 2 hrs. from Argyle & 2 hrs. from finals in Marshalltown. Will see you all at finals, whether hunting or not. Take care, Ron.

Only 3 more days left... I guess that no one cares about the World Championship this year. Allen, is your calculator broken? Who is going and where? Just because It is way out in Iowa doesn't stop the interweb hunters from "hunting". This might be "the year". It is crunch time now. The boys in Iowa are all set up and ready to go. Who is going to make it through the Zones?
