Opinions on Stud

All right, here is another one. This female will come in heat in a couple of weeks. Should I linebred her to a T-Top male or go with an outcross? She is an awfully nice deep and lonely type.

Ironically I mentioned maybe breeding fancy to bull yesterday to Jared but that might produce more deep and lonely so Bull is probably not in consideration.

Who do you like better, Bull or Bolt? Fancy has plenty of deep and alone but could use a little more mouth.

Put the Crow dog's pedigree on that female and check that out. Hope he had semen collected.

After telephone consultation with several well known Redbone breeders and a lot of thought (my poor old brain is exhausted), a decision has been made. I have leased Gr Nt Ch Big Walnut Creek Fancy and she should be bred in about 2 weeks. And as usual it looks like any/all females are already sold.

Thanks, that is what just about everyone seems to be saying. Maybe a little Zack blood also. I have decided to go with a linebred cross.

Good choice of stud Richard. I have claimed a male off of this cross. In my mind this is one of those super crosses that everyone talks about. Wow this pedigree is going to look really good... maybe you can post this for us!! It’s packed with some of the best reproducers that this breed has to offer!!

Oh my goodness, it has been 12 mos now and Fancy was just bred to Danno. I wonder how many of the pups out of Moose x Fancy are running and treeing? I know that Jared's male has treed a couple all by himself.
