New pup...registration question

Hello,

My husband and I have been wanting to buy a female black and tan compound pup, we had one before and we love the breed! We found a lady back in November that had a litter and she said the parents are UKC and pups are from great bloodlines. We told her we would take a female and she said she would let us know when they were ready to go to new homes. We asked her if the pups come with papers and she said no. She explained she lost her husband last summer and he was the one that bred the dogs and this litter was actually an oops and she was not getting the litter registered. I have never registered a dog without puppy papers so I am at a loss. It's been 4 months since pups were born and she still has our female but she has had a lot happen and she can't seem to find the sure and dams registration info. Someone that bought a pup from same litter contacted me through Facebook saying his friend owns the grandparents and sent me copies of the 3 generation pedigree saying it has the same information the pups would. I'm still confused on what to do...how do I register this pup? We want to go pick her up this week but we want to know we can get her registered before we go get her.

Any information is greatly appreciated!
Thank you!

So are the parents both UKC registered?

As far as what I've been told yes they are. I can see if I can upload the pics of the grandparents pedigree that I was sent if that will help.

If the parents are both UKC registered then once your dog turns a year of age you can apply for registration with us.

Ok thank you she's only 4 months old right now. Once she is a year old how would we register her? Just asking for future reference because I dont know if the sire and dams owner has their registration information or not. Is there a way she can get their numbers?

Once the dog turns a year of age you can fill out one of our Coonhound Application for Single Registration forms. If you don't know the parent's UKC numbers you can just give us their registered names and indicate they are UKC registered but you don't know their numbers and we can look them up. The only person we can give the UKC numbers to is the registered owners of the dogs.
