I had a question from 1 of my customers that I've never been asked or that I've personally haven't had any experience with. The sire to their litter was not Permanently registered at the time of breeding he was still temporarily registered to me. Can the litter still be registered? Do I have to sign the registration papers for the sire since he was in my name? He is permently registered now. I need to know what to tell the sires owner. Thank you in advance!

A litter cannot be registered unless both parents are permanently registered. If both parents are permanently registered now and the litter is still under a year of age, then the litter can still be registered with us. The registered owner of the Sire at the time of the breeding is the one who will need to sign off on the litter application as the Sire owner.
