Fast junk runnin son of a gun,back in the 80s the National Foxhunters field trial were held in my stompin ground.I had a dog called Bud joined in the race about daylight and ran top 3 for several crossings for almost an hour,Local foxhunters wanted to breed to him The Billy dogs I hunted with were short on mouth but were fast and many very independent...

tim if you are talking about charging Bruno that steve own he was in the mid seventies steve came up hunted with me one night nice hound and super nice guy I was a crowding billy fan jump to hickory nut harry been there ever since

I never saw or have seen a good one out of Crowding Billy, but with that said there were not many of them around here. Always used to be a ton of house breed dogs tho and same with them if you got one that would tree and stay put you had something, I have had several really nice dogs but were all either silent or bawl mouth or average tree dogs , I have 2 right now that will set the woods on fire treeing coons and are as hard and loud of tree dogs as there are , I finally got them breed and have 3new born pups, I cant wait to see what comes of them. There is not a female alive or dead that trees harder or trees more coons than there mother by herself or with pups, however she has a loose screw when you put her with a pack of sorry dogs lol
