Dunn River Kennels proudly offers Wynn's Hobo at public stud. Hobo is a direct son of Hobo's Hoss and Kansas Marti. Hobo just turned 9 years old in November and is still throwing large litters. Hobo hunts as deep as he needs to get Mr. Ringtail to climb. He opens with raspy bawl and rolls into a nice steady chop on tree. Hobo is fairly tight mouthed on track so he is a third or fourth strike dog. He is also a pressure tree dog. Once he sits down under the coon he will not pull. His pups are early starting, natural track and tree dogs and unlike daddy many get first strike. They are straight legged and catfooted just like Good Old Dad even at nine years old. We just sold a started male off of Hobo and a daughter of Fog. This pup went out with the older dog the first night in the woods. Wasn't long and he was opening out front of the older dogs. He has a bright future in front of him and is in good hands to be pushed in all areas of competition.

Bob says the calls are rolling in for pups off of Hobo. He is planning on making 3 crosses on him as soon as the females come into heat. Two daughters off of GRNITECH Northern Night Still Foggy, different mothers, and a daughter off of Batman. He is taking orders on these upcoming litters now. Bob wanted me to let everyone know Doll is breed to Hobo. Doll is directly off of Black Bart. We have two females her we kept off of Doll earlier litters. Star is off a cross with Splitter. She has a clear bawl on track and chop on tree. She gets as deep as she needs to get under a coon. Will be hitting the hunts with her this year. Willow is off of Doll and Nitech Northern Nights Iron Will. She has the biggest mouth in our kennel. Again bawl on track and chop on tree. Still a work I progress but we like her a lot. Doll is a reproducer!! Bob is taking deposits on this upcoming litter.

Hobo has been busy with the Ladies as of late. We have pups coming from three different mothers. The first litter is from Doll. We have had two other litters from Doll and in our opinion she is our best proven reproducer. One cross was on Splitter and our Star female off of that cross is ready to hit the hunts. Bawl on track and chop on tree. Next cross was on my Nitech Iron. We have a female off of that cross that is coming along nicely. Again big bawl on track and chop on tree. Pups from Doll cross we be Performance eligible and priced at $200. Pups are due around April 15, 2018. He has deposits on three females already. Doll's pedigree:

Hobo and Queen got together recently and we are expecting pups from their mating around May 25, 2018. Queen is a young hound that is bawl on track and chop on tree with a higher pitched mouth that you can hear along distance at night. She is a medium built dog with a dark face and black down the front legs. We have had several inquiries into this cross as Queen is directly off of Batman. After a very successful cross on a daughter of Grnitech Northern Nights Still Foggy from last year we have decided to make a this cross. Zip's Image was a littermate to my Iron male that recently passed this winter. He had 4 wins towards Grand when he died. (Still upset about that) Zip is a medium sized hound that is dark faced and her first litter was marked a lot like her. She is a tree minded dog that gets treed somewhere. Hard chop on tree. Her first litter mainly went to pleasure hunters but we are starting to get some good feed back on them and have recently acquired a female from that cross. I know more about what Iron threw and can fill you in on them better. This litter will be due around June 2, 2018. I hunted Hobo at the Heartland Classic this past Saturday. Rained most of the night. We didn't win our cast but the old boy hung in there. We had our chances but didnt quite get it done. Had some power house tree dogs in our cast and Hobo hung in with them. If things got a little "intense" at the tree he just backed off the tree and sat down and kept treeing. His pups open earlier on track then Hobo does but we may from time to time put him in some hunts. We are keeping him in the woods if anybody would like to see him go hunting just let us know and we can line up a night to show the old boy off.
