Jesse, was the third pup black N Tan colored? (getting back to the choclate pups in my litter Bell X Dzer) I left out it possibly could have been also from a hunderd some odd years ago when Bloodhounds were introduced to form the Breed.
Without being a scientist and actually tracking or tracing the genes there is no way of really knowing exactly.
Jesse, woops I went back and reread your post I missed seeing you said 3 were b&T. (My mistake)

when bryan was breeding luke this happened alot when he breed to black land bear or erine females.

it comes from the 70s 80s when the false papering was going on just ask an honest guy from back then and it will keep coming up with the x breed involved and everything legal now they tried this back when? the world keeps turning thanks tim

I've got an 8 months male that's browm and tan. Only one of 8 in the litter. Second time the bitch has thrown a brown dog. Recessive gene or genetic defect. They are a sharp looking dog
