They may be young

I'm thinking they might be young, but time fly's. IDK. Everything I ever heard about Crow was good. Most known for going hunting, lots of drive and having a coon.

There is a litter 18 months old. I was thinking there was an older litter but maybe not.

Wasn't Caroline also bred to G-Man?

Update

I heard about one this evening, 18 month old male out of Crow and Caroline. This man told me he has hunted with him several times and he is the right kind. This man knows what a coondog is.

That's good to hear. We've got a littermate male on its way from Iowa right now hoping he gets here first of the week.

Was Caroline bred to G Man before or after Crow does anybody know ?

She was bred to G-Man first. Both litters were raised not too far from me. I would have liked to have gotten a pup out of either litter but they sold for more than I could stand to give for a puppy.

crow x Caroline

Well the young male has made the transition from being hauled 2000 miles, several different kennels and trucks, and is settling in nicely in his new surroundings. He runs and trees hard with a big mouth and has no behavioral problems or bad habits. Hopefully time and proper handling will take him the rest of the way. Thank you Ron Applebee for the dog being what you said he was.

Good luck with him. If you can breed in drive, then he should have plenty.

You will not hear me complain about too much hunt in a dog. I can make one handle. I can't make one hunt.

Nt Ch Barnyard Rooster

Except for the fact that this dog is hotter nosed then I like for this part of the world he is a get gone not coming back almost never misses coon treein machine if you have coons to tree. He is also about 80% silent on track alone and I don't like that. No bad habits and completely trash broke.Hes been here almost two years real nice dog if you like that kind. Sounds just like his father from what I've been told.

Would like to know anything about his littermates......

I've never seen one with too much drive. There's a couple things I'd change but the motor ain't one of them.

One of the Pistol x Rhonda pups got hit by a car and killed last night. He was 1.5 miles from where the guy turned him loose. There is such a thing as too much drive.

That sucks but part of it for sure. Again though, as Donnie mentioned, one can be taught to STOP before you ever take it hunting. I say that and I might get one hit tonight...but I hope not.

Donnie, if you ever want to test his oil in thin coon and big woods you let me know.

Adam if your population is thinner then mine I feel for you lol. Most that come to hunt with me say if that's all they had to hunt they'd quit.

It just occurred to me that they may have been referring to my dogs not my spots lol
