Speck x Leon pups 16 weeks

Yelp and Leo on their first coon drag. the track was laid and they were taken to the woods about 10 minutes later.

Speck x Leon pups in Alabama

Black Ice

Last night we took Ice to the woods with the old dogs they got treed and Ice went in and stood on the tree with them. We shot the coon out and let him fight it a little bit then we hung it up in a tree and he went right to treeing with no encouragement! Black Ice is out of Blue Creek Speck

Star

Tonight was bad! Took Star out and turn her loose.She got struck quick was runnin track and all of a sudden her mouth changed.I pulled the garmin out and she was 270 yrds from me..I went to her and as i got close i heard water splashin,she had fell in a 45ft deep abandoned open water well..I could see her paddlin to stay up..I call fire dept and several farmers showed up..I was miles from any house.we got a 50 ft ladder in the well and they tied me to a rope and i went down and got her.She was in the well for around 2 hours,I got her to the top and handed her to a guy and she got away from him and went on and finished the track like she never stopped from the start.This girl has HEART N DRIVE!!! No Reverse! Leons Darkside is puttin the RIGHT tools into his pups. Not takin anything from Blue Label Lilly ,traits come from both..

Yeti will also be campaigned in the hunts this spring. He is also able to a performance sire when we pay him up. He has been doing a wonderful job while splitting time with his younger brother

Ice/Leon pups

Ty and I took Ice , Paul's pup out last night with storm. He went over 300 yards on his own at 7 months barked on the ground and treed. He has never seen a caged coon and only a few drags. So if your after a fast starting blue pup with a ton of drive and independence you really should hunt with Leon and give a pup a try. All they need is a ride to the woods and a chance to come into their own. I've been fortunate to work with 5 pups out of 4 litters and I've personally witnessed a lot of similarities and consistency.
