Sorry you got that one wrong. You can scratch them for fighting in the box, on the leash or anywhere else after the judge gets the card the dog is subject to being scratched for fighting what you can't scratch them for is "attempting to fight" That's the one that requires aggression and interference. If the dog makes contact with the other dog while showing aggression it is then considered fighting, Not Attempting to fight. Its also not only at a tree it can just be out in the woods on a track or peeing on a bush.
