Got dog that has lost all hair off last inch or 2 of his tail from hunting briars and thick stuff. It's just like a beagle does when hunted hard. But every night gets busted open and starts bleeding. What's best thing to doctor this with?

Not only would like see it heal up but would like see some hair grow back. Poor guy prob ashamed when I take him to hunt as bald guy in barbershop.

Get some NuStock from a farm supply, it will heal and grow hair. It's a sulphur based , comes in a fairly large tube, just apply daily. Make sure you agitate and mix good before opening tube every time, it's good stuff for cuts, hair loss, etc . Dave

I had a dog with the same problem.I used a product called nu skin .I think its probably similar to what Dave mentioned.Im sure what Dave mentioned will take care of your problem.
