Boot Question (snaps)

Does any vendors have hip boots that uses the metal snaps on the chaps in stead of the plastic snap connectors?

I believe the wicked chaps have the metal snaps. That's the setup I use on bekina boots.

Just curious? Does anyone else have trouble with the metsal snaps rusting and corroding. Might be the swamp water down here but they last only a short period of time.

I take those snaps off and put a lead snap on the piece of material and tie it there so they are a breeze to take on and off
