If you have enjoyed an expanded Coonhound Running Season the last few years and appreciate that you can now be armed anytime you are running your dog, please thank the Hoosier Tree Dog Alliance. If you have noticed that the number of convictions against malicious dog shooters has increased through improved education of Indiana’s Law Enforcement and Prosecutors, you can thank the H.T.D.A.
The long term goal of Indiana’s youth carrying on our Tree Dog Traditions is very important to us. We host several Youth Squirrel Hunts, sponsor many Youth Days at clubs and each summer we send several kids to Youth Camps around the state. We support the National Archery in the School Programs and contribute to the Indiana Hunter Education Fund. As a service to all Sponsor Clubs, the H.T.D.A. also provides the licensing requirements to obtain IDNR permits for your non-sanctioned events, at no charge to you.
This year’s banquet is located in the A2z Occasions building; 2270 North Montgomery Road, Greensburg, IN 47240. From the I-74 exit #134, go south on SR-3 to first stop light. Turn left on East Freeland Road. Go ½ mile; turn right on Montgomery Road, the A2z Occasions building is on the left. Doors open at 5:00 PM and we will adjourn at 9:00 PM. A live auction and raffles will be held along with many other exciting activities. Auction items will be published on the H.T.D.A. website in advance of banquet night.
Each paid up 2015 H.T.D.A. member will receive free admission and one meal ticket. Guest meal tickets are $20 each and each guest will automatically become a HTDA member. To ensure your banquet reservations you will want to send the R.S.V.P. back in right away. Your RSVP will be confirmed on the HTDA website, http://www.hoosiertreedogs.org Walk-ins will be accepted on a limited basis for $25.
If you are interested in playing a larger role and putting some time into making this banquet a success there is plenty to do. We really need your help and support.
