Well Robert

Last night I took 2 out. Both struck in and heard a locate and one came back tail tucked and stood beside me. Then when I got to the tree i looked around and he was about 70 yds away what thing. I found the possum made some corrections and turned her loose. Well I guess during the correction period he felt it a good idea to get out of the area and go find a coon. Lol. One thing I can say is, is I have never seen one tell on another and hang around to see how bad it gets.lol

We are having the same kind of luck.

Striking bad cold tracks right after dark.

Monday night my Harry pup treed 5 and a couple dens. Tuesday night, 5 and 3 dens. Last night she had a den on two drops and two drops where she never made a bark. Didnt look at a coon.
Dropped my Big Money pup twice, picked her up two miles away both times. She might have a little too much go for an old cripple like me.

I've been having much better luck here going out about 8-830. The tracks aren't too good till 10-1. Then after 12-1 the tracks get bad again. The boar coon are still looking to breed here. So you'll get some dens. Something my dog started this year was treeing for a few minutes and then check to make sure the coon didn't move on. She'll swing out away from tree 30-40 yards and if another track is there she takes it. Getting frustrated with her on this. But I've been looking at coon.

Thursday 7 coon 1 den 1 slick ( hunted a nice young female with mine) , Friday looked at 6 coon and a slick ( same dogs), Saturday looked at 3 coon (hunted by myself), Monday looked at 1 coon and 1 den (Hunted alone)

He is a grand pup of your arch enemy but you would like him. He has thrown everything at me you can think of. Weirdest turned dog I have ever messed with. His feeling get hurt way to easy, but he is the most accurate dog I have ever been to the woods with.
