Colt is now in East Tn if anybody is interested in breeding to Colt give me a call and I will help anyway I can. Colt just recently made the reproducers list and is 6th I believe. Colt is throwing natural,early starting and loud pups! If you have any pups or young dogs etc off of Colt feel free to post pictures on this thread and if you don't know how just send it to my phone and I will post it for you. This a young dog which is owned by Daniel Lane he is off of Colt and Brandon Rockwells female which is a littermate to my Dual grand female Dakota and NiteCh Watsons Smoky Mtn Brandy which is owned by Junior Watson. This young dog has treed well over 80 coons by himself this yr and Daniel said horn was just a natural from the start and he said horn seems to get better and better every time you cut him. Daniel also said hes fixing to start pushing him in the hunts. Good luck with him Daniel. thanks for the update on horn. Keep me posted on him

Colt was fun to hunt as a pup. Colt made it look easy around 8 months old. Very balanced. Colt pups are fun to hunt also. Hunt, mouth, looks, good tree dogs, and tree a lot of coons. Good Luck and Good Hunting

I've never hunted with Colt, but live in an area where he was well known. Folks always said he was the real deal. I've hunted with a couple Colt pups. Both females. The one Will Bailey owns is a pretty solid hound. If he keeps pushing her, she'll make it in the hunts. The other was the Katie female of Jerry Deal's. She's a NiteCh with 3 or 4 wins to GrNtCh I think... Katie is pretty solid as well.

I have one outta Colt and one outta Colt's son Cody. I'm really liking my male outta Cody/Foxy. He's doing great as of now. All could change but my fingers are crossed it doesn't. He can really push a track well. Still needs some work but doing great. Female pup outta Colt/Tula is very smart. She's a keeper.

Thanks Curt! I've talked to Will about his female and tried to buy her but he doesn't want to part with her and I don't blame him. Didn't Will breed Belle to Whip? How old are they? Hopefully they are in the right hands. But thanks Curt for the update and compliments. Colt has a lot to offer to the breed if not I wouldn't waste my time or anybody else's on here. There was a female by the name of Molly a couple of guys up my way ( Casey Kelly, Brandon Kelly, and Bennie Pew ) had that was bred to Colt .I wanna say Jerry got two from that litter. I was thinking that's where Katie came from but I could be mistaking as well. Is hard for me to remember all that goes on in this coon hunting world. Anyways Molly was a nice dog. Get deep quick and could move one right. These guys always had coon dogs. They don't hunt much anymore.

Good Deal Curt on the Whip and belle cross! That's the trick getting them in the right hands. Cody sure is a Coondog! I bred my dual grand female to cody about 2 yrs ago and as soon as they unlocked we loaded cody up and drove about 10 minutes turned him loose and treed 2 singles. But yes he had made grand and won a little over 1,000$ in PKC and placed in the top 100 as a 1 yr old. He also seems to be reproducing as well. Thanks again Curt


Thanks Todd! I've heard good things so far on Colt X Tula cross. I'd like to see a picture and pedigree of her and your cody pup. But do you remember how the Molly female was bred? And I agree with the Colt X Rock star cross lol I definitely don't think you will have to worry about them pups hanging around your feet lol

Thanks Casey! And that is the game plan later on. I'm gonna finish her in the hunts and run her in some PKC. Actually just got in from hunting her tonight was the last night of coon season here. she treed 3 singles tonight did it quick fashion. I got some stuff here bred a lot like Cami that I'd like to try on olé Rock in the future. I'd like to see some more nice females bred to Rock. I wouldn't mind trying another one off of him. It was pretty simple with my pup off of Rock just load her up turn her loose load her back up do it again.

Jonah, Molly was outta two of Casey Kelly's dogs. Casey lives about 10 mins from me. Sire was outta Rambo and I don't recall how the dam was bred. I think Casey bought her from Richard elbriger check spelling on last name I know that's not right. She was super nice. Lay up specialist. I'll speak to Casey soon and get more info for ya. He's mostly hunted Utchman bred dogs that I know of.

Glad to see you are getting some nice females bred to Colt. A sister to Rock Star placed at the Ashland hunt in Ohio this weekend so it looks as though that was a nice cross. If you ever breed Rock Star to Colt put me down for a female pup. That is just the kind of cross that litter was produced for. Hope everything is going well.
