The definition of a coondog can take on a different meaning to each of us, and by attempting to make a standard or set of rules only causes folks to breed to those rules. Again making it a game, and most people that play any game do so to win.
You can hang any label that you want on a dog, honest, dishonest,hot nosed, cold nosed, and the list goes on to include the things we like or don't like, and it still doesn't change the fact, it's a game.
