Another one of the founding legends gone. Lonnie promoted the Finley River dogs forever. Prayers for the Mears family

Lonnie

A true houndsman, we will miss him. My sincere condolences to his family. If my memory is correct, Lonnie would be 85 or 86 this year. Dave

LONNIE MEARS

My sincere sympathy to the Mears family. Dan and Tom were the best!
My Art dog carried Lonnie's Fathers, Ray Mears, Spot dog many times.
I still have letters from Lonnie offering free advice to a young green hunter.
May God comfort the Lonnie Mears family and keep them safe. As ever. Ken Risley

Prayers for comfort for all impacted by Mr. Mears passing. I really enjoyed hearing him speak at Walker Days this year.
