I just want to take a minute and thank everyone who helped to make 2019 a successful year for the Hawkins County Coon Club. It was a busy year for us starting with our first hunt in February. We held our first double-header in April. We hosted the two night TN State Hunt for the TN Sporting Dog Alliance in May Our RQE was in June and although the numbers are not what they used to be we had a good turnout at this hunt. The end of July was our Hawkins County Championship Hunt. The top four dogs receive free entry to our hunts next year.And the top two dogs split a $200.00 added purse.In September we were honored to host one of the zones for the UKC World Championship, Also our club host a PKC hunt each month. We hold buddy hunts each month and make sure the youth do the handling.We keep a running score each month and give away a new light every three month. So we want to thank all the hunters who came by and hunted or showed this year. Thanks to all the members who brought food for the buffet dinners, the ladies and guys who worked the kitchen,the people who just came by to eat and visit,to the guys who sold the raffle tickets, to the businesses who donated items for the raffles. To Randall Dyer, Ralph Lawson and Bobby Stevens for judging our shows this year. thanks to all who came out for the work days on the building. We want to thank Hobie Smith, Marty Linkous and Bobby Stevens for keeping the yard mowed. Once again thank everyone who had a part in making 2019 a great year. Lets do it again in 2020 starting in Febuary.

one of the best clubs in th country. It would be nice to see the RQE to go back to 120+ dogs.
