I've never heard of the Lipper dogs used on big game. Were they all coon minded, or was there some that chased big game ?

I have a friend who hunts lots of lion and bear. He uses Mathis Lion Hounds. He uses Lipper heavy Walkers to cross into his Mathis stuff and has good results.

A lot of people are big on the Lipper dogs for bear.
Allso on hogs.
Every thing in my pen is Lipper bred, except a couple of older dogs.
These bear hunters have more old blood in their line of dogs than any one out there.
