Pricey but he does some winning!!!!! The Gun dog that gcblue has now is very similar to hunt style and independence. I personally like a hound that will get a piece of yours but has the independence to think for him/herself. If the other dog pulls up short they'll go on and tree the coon. In my opinion that's what wins and they're enjoyable to hunt. I like to pleasure hunt more than competition hunt. And if I have to spent the hole night walking all different directions, it takes the fun right out of it.
