Nope...a hunting dog is born to hunt...better handling makes him better...conditioning makes him better....
Conditioning...if the dog is an indoor dog in a controlled environment such as 70 degrees F...and then you take him on a hunt in snow and 20 degrees F., then that will probably affect his performance no matter how good he is...

Training dogs is not so much about quantity, it's more about timing, and the right situations...After that it's up to the dog....A hunting dog is born...
