Garmin etrex 10

Would appreciate anyone’s help on telling me how to use this garmin from when I leave the truck and returning.
I’ve called the company and looked at videos and just can’t
figure it out. If anyone has used one of these I could use the help. 601-757-9969

Thanks

Try

I’m not sure how to mark waypoint with that hand held but you would mark waypoint at the truck and take off in the woods and then when you want to go back, just go to waypoints and find the one you just marked at the truck then press Go To and it will point you back to that waypoint. If it produces a breadcrumb trail as you walk then I would just back track the breadcrumb trail and it will take you back the same way you walked in from the truck. I use Garmin and only Garmin. I use to have one of those older Etrex units and now have a Garmin 60CSx that I have been running for a few years now. My buddy still uses a Etrex and he laughs how it gets him from point A to point B with ease. Hope this makes sense. Good luck.
