Leave it to the least mentally stable member of Congress, Nancy Pelosi, to somehow believe that Obamacare is really about the time honored principle our country is based on from the Deceleration of Independence, "Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness."

Not only does Ms Pelosi believe Obamcare is on par with one of our founding documents, she actually said it recently at the Washington Ideas Forum sponsored by The Atlantic magazine.

I will forever wonder how leaders that espouse such tripe constantly keep getting elected.

Did any of you read the Fox News story about the guy w/ the paid in full 5 million $ estate - he & his family just qualified for Medicaid because his wifes new start up business lost money last year. He was placed on Medicaid , not because he wants it but because of income it's automatic . Even if you are quite capable & willing to purchase your own insurance if your income falls below a certain amount your put on it regaurdless . Even people who would just assume pay their own way don't have a choice . For some it's Medicaid or nothing . It's sometimes difficult to find doctors who even accept Medicaid . So much for if you like your dr ,you can keep your dr. Just another example of this catastrophy !

they don't know what thier talking about ain't a true word to it me and the wife get 1"959 dollars a month social security im on medicare she can't get hers for 2 more yrs somebody told her she automaticly qulifed for medicade which is not so she went friday to sign up they told her she wasn't eligable because our income was to high for the guidelines they have to be eligable theres no way that fox is telling the truth about this

You Can Use Your Insurance The First Month, But Don't Have To Make Another Payment For Three Month's Unless You're A God Fearing HONEST Man. My brother carries insurance on him self & young son through his employer . His is pretty cheap because his employer pays a good portion of it . His employer doesn't pay any of his sons or wifes & he cannot afford to purchase it for both of them , it is more than his morgage. He will be paying the fine for his wife being uninsured - I had been of the understanding that this year the fine was $95...he has found out (my other brother & his wife are both accountants) that the fine is $95 or 1% of your income which ever is greater .He said her fine is still thousands less than the cost of purchasing insurance -so she will remain uninsured .
If this is correct only those making less than $9,500 would be paying the $95 fine (tax). And those would most likely qualify for Medicaid because that income falls well below the poverty level . Person making $50,000 their fine (tax) would be $500 .

Heck if I know Brush , 1% of this or that...your right they have made it so complicated on purpose - there are attorneys coming out of college who's sole speciality is the health care law .
